Willingham House is early Georgian in date. The exterior is a muddle. Inside is a good staircase with carved tread ends and two turned balusters per tread, and a chimneypiece with a bolection moulded surround flanked by fluted columns. {1} Willingham House is a small country house built in about 1730 which underwent alterations in around 1870. It was constructed of red brick, stock brick, some render and cast iron and has a slate and some lead roofs.
