Full Description

A LOCAL AUTHORITY ON FLINTS, HAS IN HIS PRIVATE COLLECTION, MICROLITHS, SCRAPERS AND 'PYGMY KNIVES' FOUND BY HIM IN AN AREA CENTRED AT TF08209731 FROM 1958 ONWARD. IN 1963 THE ORDNANCE SURVEY FIELD INSPECTOR REPORTED THAT THE SITE WAS UNDER CROP. PERAMBULATION OF THE FIELD BOUNDARIES SHOWED MANY FLINTS BUT NO IMPLEMENTS. {1}, HTM 32M Some cores, burins, microburins and microliths are recorded at TF 082 973 in the Colonisation of Britain Project. They are part of the D.N. Colebrook Collection. {4}
