Full Description

Cropmarks of a cluster of small to medium-sized sub-rectangular ditched enclosures possibly field boundaries, and smaller, rather irregular enclosures - perhaps of buildings. The regular rectangular layout of the enclosures resembles that of a small planned settlement or a villa. Seen on Paul Everson aerial photographs of 1977 and 1979. The Cropmarks confused by modern drainage and geology. {1} The site has also been interpreted as a prehistoric settlement by the staff of the National Mapping Programme. {4}
