Full Description

A confused mass of cropmarks of ditched enclosures, field boundaries, pits and linear features on either side of Norton Lane. First seen in 1959 by Tom Hayes, and later by Paul Everson in 1977 and 1979. No coherent pattern is discernible and aerial photographs are further confused by modern drainage and the underlying geology. The cropmarks were visible from the ground in about 1959. {1}{2}
