Full Description

A middle Saxon loomweight was found in 1962, on land to the west of Norton Sandhays Farm. It was donated to Lincoln Museum. {1}{2}{3} In 1964, the Ordnance Survey field inspector reported that the finder had confirmed the approximate find spot. The finder also stated that his wife had made a second similar find within the same area, which they had kept. {4}
