ARCHITECTURAL FRAGMENTS AND A STONE COFFIN FOUND NEAR THE FARMHOUSE, INDICATE THAT THIS IS THE SITE OF THE CONVENTUAL CHURCH AND ASSOCIATED DOMESTIC BUILDINGS OF BROADHOLME PRIORY. OTHER ARCHITECTURAL FRAGMENTS BELIEVED TO HAVE DERIVED FROM THE REMAINS OF THE NUNNERY ARE BUILT INTO THE FARMHOUSE. {1}~
