Full Description
THE SETTLEMENT OF WADDINGHAM ST PETER IS SAID TO HAVE LAIN EAST OF WADDINGHAM BECK AROUND THE SURVIVING PARISH CHURCH. IT APPEARS AS A SETTLEMENT OF COMPLEX TENURE IN THE C11 AND EARLY C12. EARLY APS INDICATE THE FORMER PRESENCE OF SETTLEMENT EARTHWORKS SOUTH, EAST AND NORTH WEST OF THE CHURCH. BY THE C17 THE SETTLEMENTS OF ST PETER AND ST MARY WERE A SINGLE SETTLEMENT. {1}{2}
