Full Description

A Neolithic polished stone axe was found on land to the east of Green Lane, Waddingham. It was made from a creamy-white stone, and measured 7.9" long by 3.1" wide. It was donated to Scunthorpe Museum. {1}{2} The artefact was thin-sectioned and thought to be of group VIII type. {3}
