Full Description

A Mesolithic angle-burin was found in 1951 on land to the east of Scotton. It is thought to have been donated to Scunthorpe Museum, although cannot now be identified in their collection. The field containing the findspot was walked after ploughing in 1964, although no associated features could be discerned. {1}
