CROPMARKS OF TWO PARALLEL LINEAR DITCHES VISIBLE FOR APPROX. 0.92KM AND ALIGNED NORTHWEST-SOUTHEAST, SEEN ON PAUL EVERSON AP OF 1980. APPEAR TO BE THE BOUNDARY DITCHES OF A ?ROMAN ROAD BRANCHING OFF ERMINE STREET. {1}~ IT IS INTERPRETED AS A POST MEDIEVAL ROAD, WHICH CROSSES ERMINE STREET. {2}
