BLOOMERY HEARTH CONSISTING OF A LOW MOUND OF 15M DIAMETER AND C.0.5M HIGH WITH EVIDENCE OF CLINKER, POSSIBLY FORGE SLAG. {1}, DIAMETER 15M, HTM 0.5M
A small complex of enclosures depicted on the west side of North Wood on the OS map of c. 1905 may have a connection with the bloomery hearth. {2}
