PRN 50542 IT IS MENTIONED AS HOLDING 1 CARUCATE IN THE DOMESDAY BOOK. IT WAS THEN DESERTED BY C19. THE EARTHWORKS LIE ON A NATURAL TERRACE WHICH RUNS NW-SE, AND WHICH ACTED AS THE MAIN STREET OF THE VILLAGE. IT ALSO INCLUDES SOME RIDGE AND FURROW (TF 14709143). {3}{4}, LENGTH 5500 M, WIDTH 600 M, HTM 110 m Pottery was found near the construction site of a new road, the pottery is presumed to be of medieval date. {6}
