A POSSIBLE BRONZE AGE LINEAR BARROW CEMETERY COMPRISING FOUR SMALL BARROWS WITH LOW PROFILES (MAXIMUM HEIGHT 0.65M) EXTENDING IN A LINE NORTH-SOUTH FROM TF12229467 TO TF12229455 ALONG THE SUMMIT OF A FLAT SPUR ON THE EDGE OF THE WESTERN ESCARPMENT OF THE WOLDS. A FIFTH, LARGER MOUND (0.9M HIGH) LIES c200M TO THE SOUTH AT TF12159435 AND IS RATHER MORE ELLIPTICAL IN SHAPE. THE NORTHERNMOST OF THE MOUNDS HAS BEEN CUT INTO BY THE MEDIEVAL VILLAGE EARTHWORKS. {1}{2}~, HTM 135M
