Full Description

Cropmarks of a parallel double ditched linear feature were seen on Paul Everson's aerial photographs dating from 1977. The feature is possibly a trackway or may form one side of a field boundary. It is aligned roughly northwest to southeast and is visible for c.250 metres. To the west is a small, subdivided subrectangular enclosure, aligned east to west, which possibly has internal features. To the east is part of a group of small rectangular ditched enclosures, which are possibly field boundaries. One apparently has a large internal pit. The cropmarks are confused by the underlying geology and drainage, ridge and furrow cropmarks and by ploughed out modern field boundaries. {1}~, htm 17 metres.
