Full Description

An old wall, now part of a cottage, and part of the moat by which it was surrounded, are probably the remains of the ancient manor house of Walesby (reported in 1861-62). The wall could not be identified in 1963 but the western arm of the moat remained. {1}{2} One arm of a manorial moat survives as earthworks. {3}{4}{5}
