Full Description

The almshouses were built in 1612 for eight poor people by Sir George St Paul (Pole). They were restored from ruin and re-occupied in 1960. The original stone plinth course is visible in places. {1}{2}{3} Early 19th century brick almshouses, probably rebuilt in c.1838.
