Full Description
A knife with silver wire decoration was found in June 1956, on land to the north of Nettleton. The current whereabouts of the knife are not known. Its description, together with its findspot being near to a known Anglo-Saxon burial ground, suggested that it might have been a possible scramasax. {1}{2}
