Full Description
THE MEDIEVAL HAMLET OF HARDWICK WAS MENTIONED IN 1334. WITHIN LIVING MEMORY COTTAGES ARE RECORDED FROM THE VILLAGE. THE SITE WAS PARTLY DESTROYED BY QUARRYING BEFORE 1964. THE LAST TWO COTTAGES WERE DESTROYED EARLY THIS CENTURY AND WERE KNOWN AS 'HADDOCK HOUSES'. {1}{2}{3}{4}
