Full Description

A possible Roman road visible as a soilmark from the A57 from where it runs north-west to the parish boundary. {1} A linear cropmark in this position is visible on aerial photographs and aligns with a field boundary on the 1905 Ordnance Survey map. {2}{3} The interpretation of this feature as a Roman road is probably mistaken. {4}
