Full Description

Possible Anglo-Saxon inhumation cemetery found before 1892. {1} Probable Anglo-Saxon burials were recorded at Scotter at some point before 1892. The site was described as being 'in the fields between the present graveyard and the river', and the remains were noted as being 'buried in the early Saxon manner, with the upper part covered in by stones'. {2}{3}
