MEDIEVAL POTTERY FOUND DURING A WATCHING BRIEF AT MAIN ROAD, LITTLE CARLTON WAS IDENTIFIED AS BEING OF TOYNTON ALL SAINTS TYPE OF FOURTEENTH TO SIXTEENTH CENTURY DATE. SUCH POTTERY MAY INDICATE NO MORE THAN MANURING OF THE FIELDS. {1}{2}{3}{4}
