Full Description

A 14th century packhorse bridge. {1} A very fine medieval packhorse bridge, 2m wide and 3.5m long over a small stream. It has three ribs and is in good condition; recent repairs with cobbles and concrete are rather messy. It has been by-passed by a modern road. {2}{3} A packhorse bridge, dated as 14th century and constructed in ashlar. The bridge has square abutments, with a double chamfered and cambered arch dying into the reveals.
