PRN 43471
DURING WORK IN ADVANCE OF A PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT THE REMAINS OF A TIMBER BUILDING FOUNDED ON AN INTERRUPTED STONE SILL WAS IDENTIFIED. IT STOOD ON THE STREET FRONTAGE AND PADSTONES AND POSTHOLES WERE RECORDED. ESTATE MAPS SHOW A BUILDING IN THE AREA IN 1614 WHICH HAD DISAPPEARED BY 1771 AND THE REMAINS WERE TENTATIVELY CONNECTED WITH THIS BUILDING. {1}{2}
