43457 An Upper Palaeolithic 'prepared' blade core, with facets on the platforms for the detachment of blades. {1} Because of the amount of workable flint left on the nodule, and as this was a valuable resource, one can assume that this core had been lost and not thrown away. {2} A late Upper Palaeolithic blade core. {3}
