PRN 43441 THE FIELD AT TF 3090 7055 (PRN 43441a) HAS NOT BEEN PLOUGHED AND SHOWS SMALL EARTHEN DIVISIONS FORMING SMALL FIELDS OR ENCLOSURES. NO OBVIOUS ENTRANCES OR STRUCTURES WITHIN ANY OF THEM. AT THE SOUTHERN END THERE IS A DEEP TRACKWAY WITH LARGE WIDE BANKS RUNNING EAST-WEST. IN THE NEXT FIELD TO THE SOUTH THERE ARE REMNANTS OF RIDGE AND FURROW, AND IT IS THOUGHT THAT PERHAPS THE TRACK IS IN FACT ONE FURROW AND TWO RIDGES STILL STANDING AND LATER REUSED AS A TRACK. {1} Earthworks, interpreted as being the remains of medieval settlement, have been identified from aerial photography. Features include crofts and buildings (PRN 43441b - TF 3087 7074 and PRN 43441c - TF 3114 7078) . {2}
