Full Description
The remains of a small boat are visible, mostly buried in sand, on the beach at Mablethorpe. They are shown on aerial photographs provided by the Environmental Agency and taken in advance of beach nourishment works. {1}
A site visit was made in September 1997, although the remains were covered and no further recording was made. The vessel was identified as the 'Stvanger', a Norwegian vessel bought in 1914. {2}{3}
