Full Description
The remains of a small boat are visible, mostly buried in sand, on the beach at Mablethorpe. They are shown on aerial photographs provided by the Environmental Agency and taken in advance of beach nourishment works. {1}
The remains of this carvel built sailing vessel were excavated and recorded in September 1997. The vessel was identified as a Seine Netter. {2}{3}
A photograph of the wreck was taken in October 2007, during site visits conducted for the Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey. {4}
