Full Description

The remains of a small boat are visible, mostly buried in sand, on the beach at Sutton on Sea. They are shown on aerial photographs provided by the Environmental Agency and taken in advance of beach nourishment works. {1} The remains were photographed and partially excavated in September 1997. The carvel built boat was intact along the length of the keel at this time. {2}{3}
