PRN 43419 25 POST MEDIEVAL POTTERY SHERDS WERE RECOVERED DURING FIELDWALKING AT SOUTH THORESBY QUARRY IN 1993. THE MAJORITY HAD GREEN GLAZE DECORATION AND RANGED IN DATE FROM C16-C18. THERE WAS ALSO A PIECE OF CISTERCIAN WARE AND A PIECE OF C19 STONEWARE BOTTLE. {1}{2} A WATCHING BRIEF WAS CARRIED OUT THE SITE. A SUBSTANTIAL DITCH WAS IDENTIFIED, WHICH WAS THOUGHT TO BE MEDIEVAL OR LATER. {3}{4}
