A late 17th century farmhouse at The Square, North Thoresby. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1}{2} The Farmhouse, at The Square, in North Thoresby is a timber framed house of mud and stud construction, and dates to the late 17th century (possibly 1683). It is of one storey with attic rooms in the roof space and has a linear plan and three cells with the lobby entrance. It was cased in brick in the 19th century and a stack was added to heat the parlour. {2} Unnamed farmstead, North Thoresby. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {3}
