PRN 43339
A DENSE SCATTER OF MEDIEVAL POTTERY (51 SHERDS) WAS FOUND OVER 40M OF THE STRIPPED EASEMENT DURING THE WATCHING BRIEF ON THE BURGH LE MARSH - INGOLDMELLS RISING MAIN. THESE FINDS WERE INTERPRETED AS AN OCCUPATION SPREAD FROM A MEDIEVAL DWELLING SITE, THOUGHT TO BE SOUTH OF THE EASEMENT, BUT PROBABLY NEARBY. {1}{2}
