The remains were recorded as two distinct areas of parallel linear earthworks, located in the south-west and north-east of the site. The remains towards the south-west of the site were aligned on an east to west axis, whilst the group at the north-east were aligned on a north to south axis, indicating a division of the open field system in this area. {2}{3}
