Full Description

FULLETBY LATE UPPER PALAEOLITHIC KNIFE. IT IS COMPLETE WITH VERY LITTLE DAMAGE. THE DORSAL SURFACE CONSISTS OF TWO LONGITUDINAL SHALLOW FLAKE SCARS WHICH FORM A LONGITUDINAL RIDGE RUNNING THE LENGTH OF THE PIECE. BOTH LONGITUDINAL EDGES OF THE BLADE HAVE RETOUCH. THE STEEP OBLIQUE EDGE ALONG ONE EDGE FORMS THE BACK OF THE KNIFE. RETOUCH ALONG THE OTHER EDGE IS AT A MORE ACUTE ANGLE. {1}
