PRN 43104
105 BRIQUETAGE FRAGMENTS WERE FOUND OVER A 15 M LENGTH OF TRENCH CLOSE TO THE WEST SIDE OF THIS FIELD (FIELD 26) DURING THE BURGH LE MARSH - INGOLDMELLS RISING MAIN WATCHING BRIEF. FIRED MATERIAL AND BRIQUETAGE WERE REVEALED IN THE SECTION CLOSE TO THE BASE OF THE TRENCH, AND IT WAS EVIDENT THAT A MODERN LAND DRAIN HAD DISTURBED A ROMANO-BRITISH SALTERN. {1}{2}
