Full Description
An area of woodland (15 hectares of which classified as semi-natural and the remaining 67 hectares classified as plantation) included in the Nature Conservancy Council's 'Inventory of Ancient Woodland'. Ancient woodland status considered to be highly probable. An additional area of 3 hectares was felled and cleared after c.1940. {1}
