Badgermoor Wood is recorded on the c.1884 and 1905 Ordnance Survey maps. {1}{2} An area of woodland (all of which is classed as semi-natural) included in the Nature Conservancy Council's 'Inventory of Ancient Woodland'. Ancient woodland status considered to be highly probable. {3}
