IN ST.PETER'S CHURCH, AN IMPRESSIVE FRAGMENT FROM THE UPPER PART OF A C10 OR C11 CROSS SHAFT OR LARGE GRAVE MARKER WITH A CABLE-MOULDED BORDER AND A PRECISELY CARVED CROSS ON BOTH FACES. NORTH OF THE CHURCH A NUMBER OF ANGLO- SAXON GRAVE MARKERS HAVE BEEN FOUND. {1}~
