Mesolithic microlithic cores and flakes found during excavations at Cock Hill, Burgh le Marsh. {1}{2}{3}, HTM 14M A microlith, four blades, three flakes and a blade core are recorded at TF 499 650 in the Colonisation of Britain Project. They are in the Lincoln Museum. The blades, flakes and core are not precisely dated and therefore may date from the Upper Palaeolithic or Mesolithic periods. {4}
