Full Description

A small hoard of late medieval silver coins were found in 1813, during repair works to the Church of All Saints (see MLI42325). The coins were held in a leather purse, which had been hidden within a wall of the church. The purse contained two nobles of Edward IV (1461 - 1483 AD), two angels of Henry VII (1485 - 1509 AD), and several other coins. {1}{2}{3}
