Full Description

The exterior of St Oswald's Church is Victorian and largely dates from 1857. However the south aisle east window probably dates to about 1300. It is not clear if it is from the Perpendicular or Decorated period. {1} A parish church dating from about 1300, which underwent alterations in the 15th century, in 1857 by Maughan and Fowler and in 1874 by Ewan Christian.
