Full Description

A SAXON HUT SITE EXCAVATED BY P EVERSON AND G V TAYLOR IN 1972. IT WAS INTERPRETED AS A GRUBENHAUS AND DATED TO THE 7TH CENTURY. OTHER HUT SITES ARE CLAIMED TO BE IN THE VICINITY. {1}{2}{3}{4} MYERS INCLUDES TWO VESSELS FROM THIS SITE, HIS SITE 158. {5}, HTM 66M
