Full Description

A possible Neolithic occupation site seen and 'trowelled' by G.V. Taylor, in 1959. An occupation layer with dark, carbonaceous material and burnt flint was found, and a small pit containing burnt and broken flint. The site was badly plough damaged. Finds include both a rim and a body sherd of a 'Fengate' Peterborough ware vessel. {1}{2}
