Full Description

A ROUND BARROW LYING TO THE NW OF SALMONBY WAS EXCAVATED BY G V TAYLOR IN 1954. A PRIMARY CREMATION WAS DISCOVERED AND, IN ASSOCIATION WITH IT, A MIDDLE BRONZE AGE INCENSE CUP. {1}{2}{3}, HEIGHT 1M, HTM 69M
