Full Description
Various sherds of possibly Roman, grey-black, hand-made pottery with carination and lid seating found in the cemetery at Alford. There is a hole drilled in the side on one sherd, so it may have been used as a lamp or colander. {1}
The pottery was thought to be from a Belgic-derivative vessel. {2}
