Full Description

The Holy Trinity Church, Muckton was rebuilt by James Fowler in 1878-79 in neo-Norman style, which was not popular at the time but an original Norman chancel arch survived. The bellcote, by Fowler, was reused in the new Church of St Matthew in New Waltham, North-East Lincolnshire. {1}{2}{3} Demolition work was monitored by A.J. White of the City and County Museum, Lincoln and notes suggest that 2 fragments of impost and 3 fragments of voussoir were agreed to be deposited with City and County Museum.
