Full Description

Three distinct scatters of Romano-British pottery were identified in 1909, on land to the north of Langton Hill. The scatters were noted around this location, at TF 3974 7194 (see MLI42476), and at TF 3978 7212 (see MLI42477). The pottery was examined by staff of Lincoln Museum in 1913, who also investigated the findspots but found no further traces, due in part to the arable use of the field at that time. {1}{2}
