A polished stone archer's bracer of early Bronze Age date was found in 1957, on land to the north-east of Calceby. The artefact was nearly rectangular in shape, with the corners rounded and pierced, and was made from a slate-like stone measuring 7.6cm by 3.4cm. It was donated to Lincoln Museum. {1}{2}{3}{4}
