Full Description

A ROMAN STONE FUNERARY CIST WITH A PERFECTLY FITTING STONE LID FOUND AT ASHBY PUERORUM IN 1794. CONTAINED WITHIN IT WAS GLASS URN WITH BURNT BONES AND TWO GLASS 'TEAR BOTTLES'. NOW HELD IN THE CITY AND COUNTY MUSEUM. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6}
