Full Description
A scatter of light greyware pottery of mainly 3rd and 4th century date was identified in this location. The pottery was recovered from what was thought to be an area of burning, possibly indicating the presence of a former kiln in this area. The site was reported as having been ploughed over, 'many years ago', and is now under grass. {1}{2}
