Full Description
Earthworks of medieval lynchets and culitvation terraces, at The Lofts, Scamblesby. Visible as a series of level working platforms on an east facing slope, with average dimensions of 160m by 4m wide, and with vertical intervals varying from 2m to 4m. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2}{3}
